
My name is Ray Dente and I'm a strength, conditioning, and wellness coach in NYC.
I’m 60 years young and have been in the fitness industry for over 25 years. During this time I've realized that my true purpose is to show people that through a combination of strength training, improved nutrition and sustainable lifestyle changes they too can live, feel, and age well.
As we get older, people start to accept that they need to live with pain and physical deterioration. It doesn't need to be this way. We can look and feel younger while aging more gracefully.

My journey with health, fitness and nutrition has been a long one. It’s been a road of trial and error, where I have failed, succeeded and learned so much along the way. I have put my body through the test physically, mentally, nutritionally and it has been through those experiences that I have developed my approach.
Rather than unsustainable diets and excessive cardio, my philosophy revolves around nutritional education, strength training and programming that works. I focus heavily on nutrition as a tool for health, performance and overall well being. My nutritional strategy takes contemporary diet theory and dumps it on its head, while focusing on simplicity. While fitness training gets us stronger, improves muscle tone, core strength and cardiovascular capacity, you cannot out work poor nutritional intake.
